NCE TEST PREP

Join Central Arkansas Group Counseling for NCE Prep

By Casey Hall, LPC, LMFT

Are you an LAC or dual LAC/LAMFT graduate getting ready to take the National Counselor Examination (NCE)? We have all been there, and with a little practice, you’re going to do great. If you’re tired of stressing out alone in your house, come stress out and study-up with Casey Hall, LPC, LMFT, a knowledgeable associate professor from John Brown University. Check the calendar for the next NCE Prep Class

Who Should Join Us?

Ms. Hall invites all recent grads and soon to be grads who want to get a head start prepping for their NCE. Specifically, Ms. Hall works with Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) students and those who are on a dual track for both LAC and Licensed Associate Marriage Family Therapist (LAMFT). To ensure the experience is positive and beneficial, there is only space for 12 students, so make sure you reach out soon to reserve a spot.

What Happens at NCE Prep?

NCE Prep is all about meeting you where you are and helping you plan for and successfully complete your NCE. While there are some specific areas Ms. Hall will cover in the class, we will also have plenty of time for questions, and we give you the opportunity to network with your peers. You may just find your ideal study partner is the room, and it always helps to have a support system in place and people to keep you accountable and help you meet your goals…or bring the energy drinks to your all-night cram sessions.

When is Our NCE Prep?

NCE Prep takes place on Friday, May 14, 2021, from 9:00 am to noon. Please, feel free to bring a lunch and/or snacks.

Where is the NCE Prep Held?

We are holding NCE Prep at the North Little Rock location of Central Arkansas Group Counseling. The address is 4702 West Commercial Drive, Suite B3; North Little Rock, AR 72116. Please contact us if you need help finding the office.

Why Should I Take an NCE Prep Class?

Let’s face it, studying for a huge, standardized test is no one’s favorite activity. Taking an NCE Prep Class can help with:

    • Motivation – when you’re getting ready for a challenge like the NCE, it can be hard to even get started. Taking a prep class can be a great way to jump start your study plan and find the motivation you need.
    • Focus – during the NCE prep, Ms. Hall will help you understand how to focus your study plan on the essential areas in order to achieve successful results.
    • Adjusted expectations – it’s important to ensure you have the appropriate expectations in place before you sit for the NCE. Taking a prep class can give you an opportunity to get clarity on what to expect from someone who’s already been through the process.

Next class: May 14, 2021, 9:00 am to noon
