Megan Loney works with Central Arkansas kids, adults, and families to lead happier lives, achieve educational goals, and develop their strengths. Having completed undergraduate education in early childhood education, Megan went on to receive graduate training in clinical mental health and educational counseling. Megan is able to provide a wide spectrum of individual, family, and group counseling services. Treatment Philosophy

Megan’s treatment goal is to provide effective mental health services to clients of all ages to help them live their healthiest, happiest lives.

 

Megan has gone through Phase 1 of Brainspotting and can now provide clients with this exciting new technique. This technique can be used to treat trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, and much more.

Who is Megan Loney?

Megan is a native Arkansan who loves all things Arkansas. She loves the outdoors. She grew up on a farm and around rodeo life here in the natural state.

 

Megan holds a degree in early childhood education from Arkansas State University. She continued her studies earning dual license in school counseling and clinical mental health counseling from Harding University. Since completing her master’s studies in 2015, Megan has worked within a number of different areas of counseling and therapy. She has experience in assessment and diagnosis, individual and group therapy, and school counseling.

 

Whether you struggle with a mental illness or you are just going through a hard time and need a little extra help, Megan is here for you! She has worked with all age groups in clinical settings. Megan’s passion is helping people! In order to do that, she uses several counseling theories, including Adlerian therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and person-centered therapy. Additionally, brainspotting techniques can now be used in treatment. Megan provides individual, family, and group services for patients at Central Arkansas Group Counseling.
