My approach to treatment is deeply rooted in the belief of walking alongside my clients, offering mental health services that empower adults to achieve their unique goals and aspirations. Having been raised on a quaint farm in Montana, I carry with me a strong sense of connection to nature and community. Following a chapter of raising my family in the vibrant state of Florida, I eventually settled in Arkansas, where I found solace in the rugged beauty of the Ozarks.
In my personal life, I cherish moments spent with my loved ones and have developed a fondness for attending rodeos, where the spirit of determination and resilience resonates deeply with me.
Professionally, my passion lies in guiding individuals towards their desired outcomes and fostering a life of fulfillment and well-being. While I have had the privilege of working across various age groups, it is in supporting adults that I discovered my true calling. My therapeutic approach draws from Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy and person-centered techniques, which I have found to be effective in promoting self-awareness and positive change.
My commitment to holistic care extends to being certified in suicide intervention and utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma therapy. In adapting to the evolving landscape of mental health services, I also offer telehealth counseling to ensure accessibility and convenience for my clients.
With a wealth of experience gained through my tenure at an agency, where I provided comprehensive services spanning from early childhood to adulthood, I bring expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and various modalities of therapy including individual, family, and group sessions. My journey in this field is driven by a genuine desire to empower individuals to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and grace.
