Todd McGuire has worked in Central Arkansas offering mental health services since 2013. He has years of education and experience that allow him to offer patients effective therapy services for adults and teens. He is especially passionate about helping patients struggling with addiction. Todd’s goal when working with people from all walks of life is to help them find the best of themselves and work towards a great future. There is more than one path to success, and Todd wants to help his clients find their best path.
Todd is a Licensed Professional Counselor having received an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Henderson State University. He spent the last five years working at Birch Tree Communities treating clients with chronic mental illnesses, including bipolar and schizophrenia. Prior to his work at Birch Tree Communities, Todd worked at the Stonegate Center, an alcohol and drug rehabilitation center in Fort Worth, Texas. During his time at the Stonegate Center, Todd helped clients realize their full potential in society while remaining clean and sober. Currently, Todd mentors and teaches residents at Joshua House in Benton, which is a clean and sober living residence, as well as providing care for patients at Central Arkansas Group Counseling.
Todd believes in taking an eclectic approach to patient therapy with emphasis on solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and person-centered therapeutic methods to treat a variety of issues, including substance abuse and addiction, depression, anxiety, serious mental illness (bipolar, schizophrenia, etc.), and marital issues.
